Description
Immerse yourself in the heart of the wide open spaces of the Saint Jean de Monts region on a bike ride. In the forest, by the seaside and in the middle of the marshes, this outing promises to be full of discoveries!
On your own bike (or that of a partner hire company), make the most of the places you pass through! The panoramic loop takes you from the forest to the marsh, by way of the ocean. You’ll get a superb overview of the communes of Notre Dame de Monts and La Barre de Monts – Fromentine.
There are a number of must-see sites along the way:
– Biotopia, the world of the coast and the forest,
– Le Pey de la Blet, the stairway into the sky, offering a panoramic view of the forest and the islands of Yeu and Noirmoutier on one side, and the marshes on the other,
– Le Daviaud, a life-size immersion in the heart of the Marais Breton Vendéen,
– Kulmino, a working water tower and magnificent viewpoint 70 metres above the ground,
– not forgetting all the other little nuggets you’ll see along the way…
