A lively seaside town

Enjoy a whole range of sports and activities in natural surroundings. Its long sandy beaches are some of the sunniest of the French Atlantic coast.

Main attractions

Dune path: A small wooden boardwalk around the golf course offers a stroll among the dunes and their vegetation, or down to the beach and the water via the paths criss-crossing the route.

Estacade (pier): A 400m promenade out over the water on the longest wooden pier on the Atlantic coast. From here you can watch the kite surfers, sail boarders and surfers, and enjoy spectacular views of the skyline and to the distant horizon.

Countryside and forest

Explora Parc: The starting point for recreation at the heart of the pinewoods: orientation trail, geocaching, forest walks, treetop trekking, tennis, archery tag, laser game, archery… A whole range of activities for exploring the forest, for both young and old.

Viewing point: Hidden in the midst of the Saint Jean de Monts forest is the stunning viewing point of La Buzelière, reached via a steep footpath. A picnic area on the way provides a pleasant spot to recharge the batteries in the shade of the pine trees.
