Campsite Le Grand Jardin
When you arrive at Le Grand Jardin campsite, Claire will be there to offer you a warm welcome. You will certainly be delighted by this site which is clean and well-maintained.
Le Grand Jardin is in an ideal spot in Notre Dame de Monts, at the entrance to the town, just 400m from the shops. It’s a short 1.5km walk to the beach or you can go by bike to dip your toes in the water! The marsh waterways run alongside the campsite offering excellent opportunities for fishing.
Claire offers simple pitches of around 130m² separated by hedges. Some of them are provided with a little shed so that you can safely store your bikes. The team welcomes those on cycling tours and is part of the ‘Accueil Vélo’ scheme.
The campsite also offers chalets and spacious mobile homes. These are equipped with a covered and semi-enclosed terrace with garden furniture, loungers and barbecue, offering the opportunity for long lunches and the chance to make the most of every moment.
If you’re looking for rest and relaxation then Le Grand Jardin is just for you. Not only is the campsite quiet and calm but it also has the option to book mobile homes each with their own private spa. You can enjoy private moments of blissful relaxation in your own shaded area.
So that your children can make their own happy memories, the Club des P’tites Crevettes is open during the week and free of charge to children aged 4 - 12 years. Le Grand Jardin also offers a variety of facilities with a play area, boule pitches, a covered heated pool (open until 10pm in July and August) - you’re already dreaming of lounging by the pool, aren’t you?!
For Claire, creating a warm family atmosphere is very important. In July and August, an evening is organised each week to bring all the campers together to meet each other. The campsite is also part of the ‘Welcome’ scheme which aims to give a specific welcome for English speaking visitors.
Finally, next door to the campsite is the restaurant ‘La Cabane du Pecheur’ where you can thrill your tastebuds and enjoy great entertainment.
