Atelier MCD85

Atelier MCD 85, based in Soullans since 2011, exhibits its own creations and promotes the work of local artisans and locally hand-made products.

Marie-Christine has always been interested in artistic creation and composition. For 20 years she has been working with paint on porceleine using traditional paints or other materials such as gold, platinum, polish or imitation inlay.

She began this work in the area around Paris and worked with some of the great artists from around the world and learning from them.  After a lot of hard work she successfully obtained the necessary  teaching licence to enable her to share her passion with others.

She also loves to meet people and regularly takes part in the local summer artisan markets to talk about her creations which are all individual and unique. They are baked at high temperatures and so the colours will not fade with normal use in ovens, microwaves and dishwashers.
