Les Lays beach is isolated, in the heart of nature, at the end of a 2.5 km walk through the pine forest. Along with its neighbour to the south, Plage de la Parée Grollier, it is one of the beaches in the Saint Jean de Monts area where naturism is permitted.

Practical information

  • The Beach of Les Lays is located in the south of the town.
  • Dogs are allowed:
    • From 15th June to 15th September at low tide when it’s before 9am and after 7pm and on a lead
    • From 16 September to 14th June at low tide and on a lead.
  • Horses are allowed:
    • From 15th June to 15 September at low tide when it’s before 9am and after 7pm
    • From 16th September to 14th June at low tide – no time restrictions.
  • Nudist beach: practice tolerated to the south of the beach.
