This beach is unique within Pays de Saint Jean de Monts coastline. A wild beach, edged by the fabulous dune pathway, it is curved and so offers the luxury of two different viewpoints which are both equally breath-taking. This layout makes it an ideal spot for kite surfers. It is the last bit of coastline followed by the boats which then enter the Fromentine channel through the two Braillard buoys. On the other side is its close neighbour – the beach of Barbâtre (Noirmoutier).
The beach of la Grande Cote is spectacular all year round for those willing to discover and respect it – whether you are on foot, on horseback or with your dog. The beach stretches out gloriously at the foot of the Noirmoutier bridge.
