With the Logis de la Chabotterie, the Vendée department is offering an evocative insight into the gentle way of life in the countryside at the end of the 17th century, through 10 furnished historic rooms.
The site of General Charette’s arrest in 1796, this key site of the Vendée War also offers a multimedia exhibition retracing the major stages of the conflict.
