Opening planned for 19/05 – Located in Saint Hilaire de Riez, the Rigonneries garden is the brainchild of two true nature lovers.
Le Jardin des Rigonneries is the brainchild of two true nature lovers.
Thecontemporary-style garden is located in the commune of Saint-Hilaire-de-Riez.
Created in 1992, the 13,000 m² garden consists of two parts:
The first was designed by a landscape architect, Mr Nadon. It differs from a modern rose garden in that its beds are organised by colour theme.
The second, more personal part, was created by the owners. It features an old rose garden, a pond, a priest’s garden with dahlias, etc.
An avenue of 21 gleditsia triacanthos sunburst trees runs through the whole area.
Every year in June, the site takes part in the “rendez-vous des jardins” and offers guided tours.
The site can also be hired for special events.
