Description
The Grand Trail links the three coastal towns of the Pays de Saint Jean de Monts, offering a super-course of almost 52km between dune and forest.
Big is the understatement of the year for this trail. It is the only one classified as a “black track” in the Saint Jean de Monts region and is undeniably a great course:
– great because of its distance ;
– great in terms of the effort it demands;
– as big as the natural areas it crosses: over its 52 km, the circuit rarely passes through urban areas.
Crossing each of the coastal towns, this trail offers the advantage of having three possible starting points, in this case the three Station de Trail host bases:
– Parking de la Grande Côte in La Barre de Monts – Fromentine ;
– Biotopia, Avenue Abbé Thibaud in Notre Dame de Monts;
– Base nautique, Avenue de l’Estacade, Saint Jean de Monts.
