The Grande Côte beach, where the tour starts, is just the first of many. From La Barre de Monts – Fromentine to Notre Dame de Monts, the route follows the coastal path, skirting the wild beaches of La Bergère, Les Lays and La Parée Grollier. Enjoy this superb panorama of the ocean, before returning to the shelter of the national forest. The iodine air gives way to the scent of woodland. The sensations are quite different, but the pleasure of running remains intact, so remarkable are these natural areas.
