Description
Along this 10km route, you'll discover all the different facets of La Barre de Monts. The first three kilometres take you through the national forest, before heading towards the Porteau nature reserve, the gateway to the marshes, before returning via the Fromentine maritime district.
So, as the name suggests, you’ll be making your way along this route, taking advantage of the presence of water on several occasions:
– water as a grid in the Marais Breton Vendéen ;
– then water as a working tool for passionate oyster farmers ;
– and finally water as a playground, on the beach at Fromentine.
