Spectacle – Paul de Saint Sernin

When I started writing this show, my aim was to talk about my passion. Then I said to myself that 1h30 on videos of short people falling is too much. So I wanted to talk about football, to tell the story of how this sport has included me, my Louis XVI haircut and my name with a particle in it, in the world.

Except that one evening, everything changed. On 27 April 2023, I learnt by chance something about myself that would change my outlook on life forever. I’m short-sighted. No. Something else. Something I’d rather never have known. This revelation scared me, made me angry, made me sad. And today, I want to laugh about it with you… So this is a profound show. Deep enough for a dwarf not to be able to walk in it.
