Rencontre danse

A first part of an evening of discovery between dance and acrobatics.

Nishike Trio – Cie Azadi Nishike is a Swahili word meaning “support me”. Three characters (two dancers and a musician) seek a common balance. Unfortunately, gravity interferes with their movements and the environment manoeuvres their various supports until they fall. Through a gesture or a sound, the sensation of falling sometimes appears brutal. The music then becomes a path of comfort towards another space. An unsuspected space, the hollow of a shoulder, a note, a look… ,Cie Grain de Sable – After auditions, the young artists were recruited to work and dance in a variety of techniques: jazz, street-jazz, hip-hop, contemporary dance, etc. They have acquired strong stage experience, and are now working on their own. They have acquired a strong, demanding and varied stage experience, to the delight of their audiences.

Under the direction of Audrey Balavoine, and supervised by dance professionals, the forty-five dancers present their new show entitled “L’ENVOLÉE”.
8 original creations, accessible to all audiences, make up this one-hour programme, rich in emotion, sparkling and diverse.
