Prémices – Veillée concert au Daviaud
The Friday 04 April at 21 a.m00
Ecomusée du Daviaud 85550 LA BARRE-DE-MONTS
Event description
The beginnings of something are just around the corner: the reopening of the museum's outdoor trail! To mark the occasion, Le Daviaud is planning an intimate and convivial evening. On the programme: a concert by the Alberi Sonori duo followed by an open stage, with everyone invited to bring their own instrument! A friendly drink will be offered at the end of the concert, at the opening of the open stage. The Gens du Bocage et du Marais association will be offering a tasting of seasonal and local produce.
Alberi Sonori
Contemporary Italian Trad
Alberi Sonori carry the vibrant repertoire of their homeland with love and ardour. The thousand festive landscapes of tarantella alternate with the passionate, intimate and sometimes dreamlike expression of folk song.
Somewhere between interpretation and creation, the duo offer a repertoire that follows in the footsteps of a living tradition that is constantly renewing itself. The raw, timbred vocals come in a variety of dialects, the fruit of centuries-old blends, and are extended by the powerful sounds of drums, strings and wind instruments.
The sonorities of the many instruments merge to give life to a contemporary music, both dancing and moving, rich with all the strength of its roots and its openness.
Giuseppe PONZO: battente guitar, Calabrian lira, mandolin, mandola, traditional flutes, Jew’s harp, accordion.
Cinzia MINOTTI: voice, Mediterranean drums, string tambourine.
From 8 years – Bookings from 1 March
