Monts Noël

From Saturday 28 to Monday 30 December, the Place de l'Eglise will be wrapped in a mantle of greenery and illuminations to welcome Monts Noël.
For 3 days, sleighs, reindeer and other magical creatures will take you into an enchanted world, with a host of activities on offer… a chance to experience the magic of the Christmas season in the town centre of Saint Jean de Monts.

Activities for young and old
Place de l’église
From 10am to 7pm
– Snow globe (3/12 years) – Free access. Have fun in our life-size snow globe in Christmas colours.
– Carousel of flying chairs (3/12 years) – 2€. Take a seat on our carousel: a trip through the air awaits you.
– Derby Ski (From age 4) – €2. Use your skill to send the balls to the right place, make your skier progress and maybe win the race!
– Cross-country skiing (From age 6) – €4. Put on your skis and discover this Nordic sport with your family or friends, right in the centre of Saint Jean de Monts.

From 10am-12.30pm and 2.30pm-7pm
– Make-up (3/12 years) – €4 – Except Monday mornings
In just a few minutes, our make-up artist will transform you into an animal, a cartoon hero or a character straight out of your imagination.
– Curling (From age 8) – €4 – Discover this sport from Scotland and test your skills in the challenges on offer, with family or friends.

– Biathlon shooting (From age 8) – €4 – Supervised by professionals, you can try your hand at rifle shooting and test your skills against the targets.

Sunday 29 December – Lantern walks in the forest
Departure at 6.30pm – Open to all. Equipped with a lit lantern, set off on a 6km loop between the esplanade and the Montois forest.
A hot drink will be waiting for you at the finish.

Monday 30 December – Biathlon running challenge
From 10am – From 8 years old in teams and 12 years old in individuals
– Women’s race at 10am
– Men’s race at 11.30am
– Pairs race at 2.30pm
All day long, alone or in pairs, challenge your opponents on a 300 m marked course with running and rifle shooting.

A gourmet and creative village

For 3 days, around fifteen producers and craftspeople will be on hand to show you their creations: nougat, honey, cheese, sausages, jam, chestnut cream, rum, wooden decorations, handmade cards, hand-sewn items, etc.
