Winner of the Palme d'Or for short films in 1953, Crin Blanc by Albert Lamorisse is praised as one of the finest films for young people.

The leader of a herd of wild horses, Crin Blanc lives peacefully in the marshes of the Camargue until he is captured to be tamed. Impetuous, the animal ends up escaping from man. On the way back to his family, he meets Folco, a 10-year-old fisherman. A deep friendship is born between these two kindred spirits, drunk with freedom.
70 years after its release, this masterpiece still perfectly illustrates the fragile relationship between man, nature and animals.
Camille Saglio and Matthieu Dufrêne play a live soundtrack they have created for the occasion. They enhance the spirited cavalcade of the protagonists by immersing the spectator in a vast and wild nature.
