La grande tournée – Queen a Man

Cécile Le Guern had a dream: she saw herself on stage, disguised as a man, who was disguised as a woman. She saw herself as Freddie Mercury, dancing to the music of Queen. Around her were Cyrille, Mario and other actors and acrobats, all twirling batons above their heads. Cécile decided to make her dream come true.

La Grande Tournée is a programme run by the Pôle cinéma audiovisuel des Pays de la Loire – La Plateforme, designed to highlight the vitality of film-making in the Loire region. Each year, a selection of films made or produced in the region is shown in a network of cinemas, in the presence of the directors.

For the 2024 edition, a jury of four programmers has selected three feature-length documentaries and a programme of four shorts to help you discover new regional talent!
