Event description
Created in 1989, the Festival Théâtral & Musical de Fromentine is organised by the Association Culturelle de La Barre de Monts. It relies on a troupe of amateurs supervised by a team of professionals. Everyone comes together every summer for intense seasons. Since its inception, it has attracted a loyal following, won over by the good atmosphere and the quality of the shows.
The shows take place at the Parée Bernard stadium, which is transformed each summer into the PLM theatre in tribute to Patrick Laurent Martel, the founder who passed away in 2011. The emphasis is on musicals, with shows aimed at both children and adults. Dance and music are never far away.
Since 2017, Armonie Coiffard, Marlène Connan and Fabrice Todaro have been the festival’s artistic directors.
