Event description
Created in 1994, the National MiniBasket Festival brings together children aged 6 to 11 every year in every French department in May and June. Presented by MAIF, this festival is organised nationally by the FFBB and relayed by its Departmental Committees at around a hundred sites. More than 100,000 children take part in tournaments and learn the basics of basketball in workshops.
They are supervised by almost 10,000 volunteers. The watchwords of the National MiniBasket Festival :
