Festival du roman noir – Le Marais Noir
The Thursday 30 January
Bibliothèque 11 place Jean Yole 85300 SOULLANS
Event description
This new edition plunges you into the world of spy novels.
This literary genre was born at the beginning of the 20th century and is now enjoying a revival. One of the masters of this sub-genre of crime fiction is John Le Carré. Authors of spy novels draw their inspiration from the geopolitical context and current events at the time of writing, and try to get as close to reality as possible. They may call on the intelligence services, special military operations and anything to do with
state secrets in general.
This event is organised by the Communauté de Communes Océan Marais de Monts, in collaboration with the librarians of the Réseau Intercommunal des Bibliothèques.
The 3-day programme includes screenings, lectures, meetings with authors, scientific workshops, etc.
