A journey through Spain’s greatest pacifist poets, set to music by singer Paco Ibañez over fifty years ago, when he was just starting out in Paris’s Latin Quarter. In the words of Salvador Dali himself, he became “the voice of Spain”!
Eddy Maucourt will help you discover or rediscover these magnificent songs. Sometimes melancholy, but always sunny, they have stood the test of time with their power and their universal, timeless message. Poems set to song, like those of Garcia Lorca, with profound and eternal themes, especially peace, love and freedom. It’s an hour of poetry that will leave the audience with a greater sense of purpose in a world that constantly reminds us that we must defend its humanist values.
