There’s no camera here; it’s the music that dictates the scenario, the framing, the setting. Songs, themes, melodies and even film dialogues follow one another, all removed from their original contexts to tell a new story for the duration of the show.

Chloé Lacan and Thibaud Defever sing and narrate this strange and unpredictable scenario. Guitar, accordion, vocals and percussion engage in a subtle dialogue, revisiting well-known and lesser-known tunes from the world of cinema. From Godard’s “Mépris” to Bob Fosse’s “Cabaret”, not forgetting “Orphéo Negro”, “Cria Cuervos” and “Hotel du Nord”, these two lovers of the cinema take pleasure in mixing styles, languages and memories to create their ideal soundtrack.
