La Manivelle à films is an association that retraces local history through its documentaries and highlights the various trades of the past, traditions, arts, habits and customs. Created in 2014, the association has its head office in the Paris region. There is a branch in Burgundy and a branch in the Vendée, which is represented by François Baubineau who lives in La Jaudonnière.

Le laitier et les fermes laitières (The milkman and the dairy farms) is a documentary about Bazoges-en-Pareds, La Jaudonnière and Mouilleron-en-Pareds, but its general theme is the history and development of the dairy industry since the early 1960s.
The second documentary, Le four à pain (The bread oven), presents the ovens and briefly looks at their history and development. It takes viewers on a tour of several villages and hamlets in Bazoges-en-Pareds and the surrounding area. It looks at changing lifestyles and some of the Vendée traditions that still survive today.
The filmmaker’s work on restoring the vernacular heritage, including the communal bread oven, carried out by the Cloucq Michelais association, is a key part of the documentary.
