Come and discover sewing in all its forms in Sophie's workshop! The creator of Un Fil à la mer, a sewing workshop in Notre Dame de Monts, she creates comfortable clothing collections for children as well as sewing creations around well-being and yoga. There are also sewing workshops and a boutique selling local designers and producers.
All year round, Un Fil à la mer offers you the chance to learn how to sew in group workshops.
With 15 years’ experience under her belt, Sophie will be able to guide you with patience and pedagogy. Whether you’re a beginner or not, a child aged 8 or over or an adult, there’s a varied programme of workshops to suit all tastes. Don’t worry about supplies, everything is at your disposal, all you have to do is get your feet under the table! All you have to do is put your feet under the table and you’ll be able to make the most of your holidays and free time to discover or rediscover sewing.
Un Fil à la mer also offers a range of handmade textile creations in local colours.
Other designers will be exhibiting alongside Un Fil à la mer in the designer boutique, where you’ll find local and French craftspeople offering a wide range of items: jewellery, leather goods, clothing and home decor. You’ll be sure to bring back some unique souvenirs from your holiday in the Saint Jean de Monts region!
