About us
Mélanie trained as a pattern maker and after 10 years' experience in business, it was in 2016 that she created La Petite Montoise (registered trademark), named after the inhabitants of the Saint Jean de Monts region.
She draws all her inspiration for her sewing from this land and her love for it: ocean, sun, forest, marsh, all these elements are the worlds and colours behind her creations. Her work and her creations are a real tribute to all the lights, those of the coast and those of the marshes. The whole is colourful and lively, with the shades blending into each other just like the materials.
This local designer loves to meet people and share her passion for sewing, and she looks forward to seeing you at the local markets, so don’t hesitate!
