About us
Set in the heart of the national forest and ideally located with direct access to the beach, Camping Municipal l'Orgatte is reserved exclusively for campers in tents or caravans and motor caravanners, and has retained all its authenticity.
Created in the 1950s, Camping Municipal l’Orgatte has seen generations of campers come and go, writing their fondest holiday memories here.
Ideally situated under the pines on gently undulating dune land, it offers spacious, shady pitches, so you can make the most of this unspoilt natural setting.
The campsite offers a range of leisure facilities so that holidaymakers can get together in a friendly atmosphere:
– A multisport pitch, where the best holiday teams compete every day,
– A pétanque court, where the best competitions are organised, including the inter-camp-site challenge.
– A marquee for the children’s club in July and August, where the best creations come out.
– A snack bar, located at the entrance to the campsite, is available during the season, offering snacks and crunchy chips to keep holidaymakers happy.
Because of its natural setting, Camping Municipal l’Orgatte has been working for several years to welcome holidaymakers who enjoy outdoor sporting activities. In 2014, it was awarded the “Accueil Vélo” label. This is a commitment to providing a special welcome for cycling enthusiasts (whether novices or experienced cyclists), with picnic tables available so you can dine comfortably under the pine trees.
As an “On Piste” partner, the municipal campsite offers additional services to runners and walkers keen to discover the wide open spaces of the Saint Jean de Monts region.
