Camping La Parée Chalons has been a family affair for over 50 years. 3 generations have succeeded one another, imprinting a special soul on this small campsite on the edge of the pine forest.
Nicolas took over about fifteen years ago, and he knows how to bend over backwards to make sure you have a great holiday by the ocean, offering you ..:

– a warm welcome and great availability, conviviality and a good dose of good humour. Nicolas’s smile is no myth, and you only need to read the traveller reviews on the platforms to be convinced;
– A traditional campsite with 53 pitches, mostly for tents, caravans or motorhomes, bordered by hedges and overlooking the pine forest. The 3 mobile homes for rent have covered terraces, so you can enjoy meals al fresco;
– Furnished houses for rent on the campsite itself, accommodating 2 to 6 people (original, isn’t it?), are available all year round;
– special facilities for touring cyclists. Thanks to its “Accueil Vélo” accreditation, Nicolas has been able to adapt to the needs of cycling holidaymakers, improving its offers every year in response to the needs expressed by this clientele. A few years ago, he welcomed the national association of tandemists;
– During the season, there are services tailored to the needs of gourmets, such as a bread depot, street vendors selling ice creams, crêpes and galettes and, to keep your little ones occupied, a children’s entertainer one morning a week.

– walk to La Braie beach: it’s only 450 m away. You’ll be able to enjoy afternoons swimming, playing games and relaxing;
– go shopping in the town centre, thanks to the free Eole shuttle bus that picks up and drops off holidaymakers at the campsite gate. You can also take advantage of the local shops to (re)discover the specialities of the Vendée. And don’t forget the summer markets held every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday during the season in Notre Dame de Monts;
– Ride your bike. With the cycle path running alongside the campsite, it’s easy to explore the most beautiful sites in the Saint Jean de Monts area (Kulmino, Biotopia, Jardin du Vent and Le Daviaud);
– put on your running trainers or grab your poles and explore the trail and Nordic walking circuits (this area has been awarded the “Station de Trail” and “Station Nordik Walk” labels).
