About us
Follow the coastline, pass through small villages and stop off at some of the island's most beautiful sites… here's a foretaste of the tour on the little electric train.
The tour lasts 2 hours and includes a commentary.
Departure from the Quai de la Chapelle in Port-Joinville.
Come aboard the Petit Train de l’île d’Yeu and discover some of the most beautiful sites on this little corner of paradise.
A peaceful visit at the leisurely pace of the Little Electric Train.
You’ll set off along the coastal road of the north-western tip to discover the wild, jagged coastline battered by the prevailing winds.
After an initial stop at Pointe du But, you’ll pass through a number of small, unspoilt villages before arriving at Anse des Sabias.
Here you’ll be amazed by the sites of the Vieux Château, the Pointe du Châtelet and the Sabias beach with its little fishermen’s huts.
You won’t want to leave this place… but the most beautiful part is yet to be seen!
After this stop, you’ll head back to the Port de la Meule, the jewel in the crown of the Ile d’Yeu, where, despite the 20 to 30-minute stop, time really does seem too short in this magnificent place.
After enjoying the sights, you’ll return to Port-Joinville to finish this 2-hour guided tour.
Dogs are not allowed on the little train.
