Le Bateau play area

About us

Little sailors who know their stuff can't fail to notice what a great playground Tonnerre de Brest is! Large wooden structures have found their place in this little corner of the pine forest. A huge spider's web decorated with ropes, moving ladders and a little swing to rest on. It's a real feat to make it to the top of the main mast without getting caught in the net!

Extending from the main mast, there are a number of apparatus on the ground just waiting to be used. A Japanese step course, a moving footbridge… so many opportunities for the youngest visitors to test their balance and dexterity, in complete safety.

So many stories and role-playing games have been invented in this mytic Bateau area. There are still plenty of games to be played in this little corner under the branches. Friendships are forged in the space of a few minutes between the youngsters of Montpellier and the holidaymakers as they dream up adventures together.

And to make matters worse, this play area is adjacent to a lovely picnic area, itself shaded by trees. What more could you ask for to spend a lovely afternoon with family and friends?

GOOD TO KNOW: this area is safe and vehicle-free. Located in the heart of the forest, it is shaded and offers a great alternative when the wind is too strong to play freely on the beach. Ideal for children aged 3 and over. A book box and seed box are located nearby, on the Avenue de la Mer side.
