LA ROUTE DU SEL

For almost 40 years, La Route du Sel has been renowned for its guided tours by canoe, bike or on foot, exploring the Breton-Vendée marshlands and the surrounding area, from the bocage to the Baie de Bourgneuf and the Gois.

Our guided tours take you right to the heart of little-visited sites and give you the chance to experience something out of the ordinary. The emphasis is on meeting local people and learning about their culture, as well as visiting historical and heritage sites.

There are also a number of self-guided tours on offer, including bike hire, offering other ways to discover the region. The Salt Route has also been awarded the “Accueil Vélo” label, offering a number of facilities and services for cycling tourists.
