Jardin du Vent

At the foot of a curious mill topped with sails, lies an original garden offering visitors an artistic, amusing and instructive walk.

Animated sculptures, huts and teepees, wind games, legends and meteorological information are just some of the surprises along this family trail. The installations dotted around the site promise a magical interlude right in the centre of Notre Dame de Monts.
The Jardin du Vent invites you to relax. It’s a place for experimentation, creation, games, exhibitions and… reading.

The site houses a library. Open all year round, it provides users with a wide range of documents: novels, children’s books, comic strips, documentaries, practical guides, CDs, DVDs and magazines. Young and old alike can enjoy discovering nature and its secrets.

Whether you’re a curious visitor, a local who loves the area, or a cyclist looking for a place to relax (with the “Accueil Vélo” label), you’ll all find something to suit you. The Jardin du Vent is a dynamic place to meet and have fun. Events are regularly organised on the site. On a summer’s evening, the outdoor theatre becomes an open-air stage for an intimate concert.
