About us

The Saint Jean de Monts Golf Club is an 18-hole course set between the pine forest and the ocean, offering dry conditions all year round.

What about discovering an exceptional site? Regularly ranked among the 30 most beautiful courses in France, the Saint Jean de Monts golf course lives up to all its promises. A hilly, landscaped environment, a course between forest, dune and ocean, 18 highly varied holes, ideally placed obstacles and a breathtaking panorama. What’s more, the sunny climate of the Vendée coast and its sandy subsoil mean you can play this links course all year round with your feet dry.

It has something for everyone:

– For amateurs and regular golfers alike, this is a highly challenging course. The various holes are technical and the water obstacles and bunkers, ideally placed on the course, offer real challenges! This course, created in 1986, is a par 72 of 5,896 metres. It’s open all year round, so you can discover this giant in all its different guises, as it changes with the seasons and every hour of the day, influenced by the wind and the light. You’ll need to know how to deal with the wind as you get closer to the coast, and your choice of clubs will sometimes be a difficult one.

– For beginners and those wishing to discover a new activity, the Saint Jean de Monts golf team has thought of everything. Baptisms, courses, introductory lessons, the teaching team will be able to guide you and adapt its proposals to your every desire. During your lessons, you’ll be able to hit your first balls on the compact course, as well as on the many practice areas. The 6-hole pitch and putt course is also a real pleasure to play.

– The driving range is the meeting place for beginners and experienced golfers alike. Its many targets at varying distances allow golfers to work on their trajectories and the length of their shots with each of their clubs.

Whatever your level, at the end of the game you’ll remember every hole and the feeling you get. You’ll want to do it all over again!

After all that excitement, there’s nothing like relaxing with friends in the Clubhouse bar-restaurant. Ideally located, with a panoramic view over the golf course and the ocean, whether indoors in its cosy setting or outside on its lovely shaded terrace, this is a place where you can relax and unwind. The restaurant is open all year round and serves creative cuisine based on fresh seasonal produce. The chef takes particular care to match the ingredients of each dish, while paying close attention to the presentation, which is designed to be both refined and aesthetically pleasing.

The Club House also has a shop dedicated to the world of golf, changing rooms and a games room. Two large, fully-equipped rooms are available for seminars, meetings and other receptions.

Finally, to make life easier for foreign players, the Saint Jean de Monts Golf Club has been awarded the “Welcome” label, in recognition of the initiatives put in place for English-speaking customers. Here, players and customers can be greeted in English by all the teams. They can also be coached by Anthony, a native American.

So, when will you come and experience the Saint Jean de Monts golf course?
