Les Genêts is a 5-star campsite. It is situated on the edge of the forest and 800m from the beaches of the famous seaside resort of Saint Jean de Monts on the Vendée coast. With its easy access to the extensive network of cycle paths, this top-quality campsite promises you a highly enjoyable stay on the Cote de Lumière.
The location of this campsite makes it ideal for anyone wishing to spend their holidays at the seaside. This establishment, which is situated to the south of Saint Jean de Monts, is only 800 metres from a superb beach. The campsite stretches out over 7 hectares of carefully maintained pine forest. The campsite is ideally located offering 370 placements, with the shops only 700m away.
The wooden cabins are an original type of accommodation - comfortable, calm and warm. These cabins are grouped together and holiday makers can make the most of shared equipment such as barbecues and picnic tables.
The campsite offers various shops and services and also has its own bar/restaurant. In addition, a Wifi network is available that covers the entire site.
The Kids club room is in the style of a Wild West saloon, and this is also the theme of the water park area where you will find a heated outdoor pool, an artificial river, a spa pool area with water massage benches, jacuzzi and 4 waterslides. There is also a children’s play area covering around 100 m². You will be amazed when you see the 1500 m² covered area with its pools, where you can have fun in the water, along with its 6 waterslides - 2 of which are 9m high - and the whole area is decorated with a Lego© theme.
New for the 2023 season is a newly created area called the ‘Fun Zone’ which brings together 15 courts and pitches for petanque, beach volleyball, and general multi-sports along with a food truck in the relaxation area. There’s lots of fun and sporting activities to keep all our visitors entertained - whatever their age.
We have an entertainment team who are there to provide a range of activities both during the day and in the evenings - from petanque tournaments to evening dances, there is something to suit all tastes and all ages.
