Campsite Acapulco
Acapulco is a 5-star campsite in the seaside resort of Saint Jean de Monts, just a few steps away from sandy beaches, and is considered one of the best campsites in the Vendée. With its water park and top-quality accommodation, the campsite offers a great deal to entice holidaymakers.
Spreading out over many acres, the campsite is able to allocate plenty of room to each of the 427 pitches. A good number of the pitches are occupied by mobile or holiday homes but there are plenty of other pitches available for tents, caravans and camper vans.
One of the rented accommodation options available is the VIP Cottage. These are the campsite’s premium range holiday homes. They are spacious and modern and come with a fully equipped kitchen, including dishwasher, two bathrooms and an elevated terrace. They also include services such as television, Wi-Fi, bedlinen, towels and barbecue etc. This top-quality accommodation is located in a spacious area with lots of greenery. In this area you will also find the houses in the ‘Dune and Alizé’ range which are over 45 m² in size.
There is a bar/restaurant with a pretty terrace overlooking the swimming pool where you can find a good choice of meals and refreshments, either to eat in or take away.
Acapulco has an exceptional water park where visitors of all ages can relax and have fun. The water park is considered one of the prettiest in the Vendée. It has 3 pools, 5 water slides, a kids’ fun paddling pool and a spa pool of 220m² with water massage benches. Two of the water slides are 9m high and the wave pool is 30m long.
In addition to the excellent water park, Acapulco offers its visitors the use of football pitches, volleyball and basketball courts, table tennis tables, a tennis court, a games room with pool and table football, and 15 petanque pitches. The playground, and a Kids Club aimed at children 4 - 11years old, keep our youngest visitors entertained. Teenagers, 12 - 17yrs old, also have a dedicated area on the site. We have a dedicated team of entertainers to organise trips and activities for visitors of all ages.
