Anne-Laure Forgerit, beekeeper
Anne-Laure is a nature lover since her childhood who can’t work without it.
It is “naturally” that she built her professional life dedicated to environment. After setting up home in Notre Dame de Monts by working for ONF (National Forest Office), she met Claude Poirot, beekeeper at “La Folie de Fanfarine”. He was the one who pushed her in the world of bees.
She settled down 250 beehives, divided between the marsh, where she’s living with her family, and the bocage where she spent her childhood. Anne-Laure produces honey as well as pollen, propolis, gingerbread and even sweets.
She makes you discover her activity, bees and love for her beekeeping profession through visits in July and August.
You can also find her every Tuesday and Sunday of July and August on the Notre Dame de Monts market. A nice opportunity to meet her and discover her products.
