Guided tours of an exhibition that brings together entomological, botanical and horticultural collections (herbarium, alguier, naturalised insects, vegetable plates) alongside contemporary works from the art library and the La Roche-sur-Yon museum. A selection of works by Sachiko Morita, Sébastien Gouju, Nicolas Floc'h and Clément Richem are also displayed alongside the specimens on show. Photographs, installations and videos show a nature that is both real and fantasised.
Mirabilia instils a sense of treasure and even wonder in the things of nature, raising awareness and respect and inspiring a desire to take care of them.
Over 90 works are on display, including photographs, herbariums and insect boxes.
