VERNISSAGE DE L'EXPOSITION OASIS
Galerie La Gaterie 17 place du Marché 85000 LA ROCHE-SUR-YON
Event description
Vibrant with life, this 'oasis' is a refuge for Igor Porte, but also a place where he tries to weave a relationship with the landscape through his senses.
In the face of increasing urbanisation, this work revisits and questions our relationship with space and living things.
Seeking a sensory and physical approach to the landscape, the artist draws our attention to fragments from his travels and daily life, so that we can perceive the richness of sound and the singularity of these elements of nature.
Integrating the audience into the heart of a hybrid ecosystem of plants and electronics, this living installation shapes sounds through the prism of the acoustics of the materials in our environment.
