Event description
The Marais Poitevin regional park will be the backdrop for the first laps of the second edition of the Pays de la Loire Tour. A third of the way through the stage, the peloton from Fontenay-le-Comte will reach the coast at L'Aiguillon-la-presqu'île.
Before heading north to Jard-sur-Mer, east of Les Sables-d’Olonne, Saint-Hilaire-de-Riez and the finish at Saint-Jean-de-Monts.
This first stage is 100% Vendée, the longest of the Tour (208 km).
Start: 11.15 am in Fontenay- le Comte
