Espace Vie et loisirs Bibliothèque Brem sur Mer 85470 BREM-SUR-MER
Event description
Novel entitled 'From the Ardennes to Ohio, for the love of a soldier'.
Already the author of several collections of poetry, Marianne Logeais-Ninet now turns her attention to her family’s history in the Ardennes through the life of her great-aunt, Julia. Partly based on letters, the book is the result of extensive research into this grandmother, who emigrated to the United States at the age of 20 out of love and a taste for adventure during the First World War. The book was awarded the Prix du Public by the jury of the Ecole Académique Littéraire de la Loire.
The Lire à Brem library is organising a literary breakfast and author talk.
Free and open to all.
