OISEAUX ET PATRIMOINE BÂTI AVEC LA LPO
Office de Tourisme Vendée Grand Sud Place de Verdun 85200 FONTENAY-LE-COMTE
Event description
Guided tour in partnership with the City of Art and History of Fontenay-le-Comte.
Meet at the Tourist Office, place de Verdun.
The River Vendée has always shaped the face of Fontenay-le-Comte, splitting the town in two. Its banks and the Quai du Halage, where the barges were once towed, are an invitation to take a stroll and admire the small houses built at the beginning of the 20th century in the architectural style of seaside villas. Colonised today by a diverse natural environment, this walk will also be an opportunity to observe plants and birds, and listen to their songs in particular.
Free outing.
LPO Vendée south Vendée branch on 07 60 09 24 18.
