Armed with their eternal "Gallic and quirky verve", the Amicale Laïque de Flora Tristan theatre group tackles a topical issue.
The mayor of Champougné is perhaps thinking a little big… Not content with having set up a festival of French song in his commune, he has set his sights on creating a theme park
on the theme of ancient Egypt, and to build a pyramid at the entrance to the village.
But he has to contend with fierce opponents: an ecologist who is also his direct rival in the municipal elections, zadists who have settled in the area of the future park, a farmer whose land is going to be bought up by the local authorities, and a number of other people.
farmers whose land is to be expropriated, and even the shopkeepers, who are getting into the fray over a murky issue of sales.
There’s plenty of trouble ahead in the peaceful village of Champougné…
