On the weekend of 6 and 7 April, the magnificent Nave of Vouvant will be welcoming craftspeople from a wide variety of fields (jewellery, lighting, mosaics, raku, etc.).
As you stroll around on the weekend of 6 and 7 April, you’ll be able to (re)discover the crafts and creations of :
– Gisèle CHECOLA (69), Meilleur Ouvrière de France in the art of sabre velvet, guest of honour and the last MOF still working in this rare and precious craft.
– Miss Elli couture”, Mathilde ROBERT (33), theatrical costumes and period corsetry.
– Métiers d’Antant”, Laurence AIMOND (85), spinning and weaving
– Marie Odile PLANCKE (44), micro-macramé and lace
– Isabelle METAY (85), teddy bears
– Julie and Co créations”, Julie FOUQUEMBERG (85), fusing glass and glazed earthenware jewellery and accessories
– Au coeur du papier”, Elise HAUDIQUERT (86), paper restoration
– Un tour dans les bois”, Mariane GACHELIN (17), wood turning
– Michel BIBARD (85), cabinetmaking and wood mosaics
– L’atelier Utopique” (85), embossed leather.
This list of professionals will be joined by demonstrators of their skills:
– Nelly GUILLOTEAU (85), bobbin lace
– Les petits points de virgules”, Lucie BEDU (85), saddlery (young graduate).
In addition, the Village’s art and craft workshops will be open and will be joining the event:
– Atelier Terra Color”, Daniel and Raymond KIMPE (85), ceramics
– L’empreinte”, Christine BOUCHER (85), raku
– La galerie-atelier Duc d’Aquitaine”, Sylvie SALMON (85), precious jewellery and lighting.
Free admission.
