Event description
I welcome you to my workshop where you can discover the machines and tools used to work leather. I will also give a demonstration of saddle stitching.
On Friday evenings, there will be a workshop for adults, where you can try your hand at leatherwork and make a handbag or purse (booking essential – fee payable).
My workshop has a large car park, and people with reduced mobility can be accommodated.
Located in a town that has been designated a “Petite Cité de Caractère”.
– Dedicated programme for young audiences:
On Saturday 6 April, there will be a workshop for children, where they can take part in the “skin game”, which consists of finding out which animal the skin in front of them comes from.
For every successful investigation, budding leatherworkers will win a set consisting of a piece of leather and laces to make a leather purse.
Admission free.
