Event description
Come and discover the complex world of mushrooms! Where can you find them? How can you tell them apart? What is a mushroom?
After the morning’s harvest, the mushrooms will be presented and sorted by volunteers from the Mycological Society of La Roche sur Yon. The different species will be classified and named. The world of mycology will no longer hold any secrets for you!
9.30am / 11.30am: mushroom picking in the forest (registration required)
2.30 pm / 5.30 pm: Mushroom exhibition (no registration required)
If you have mushrooms in your garden or nearby, don’t hesitate to pick them (whole, with the stem) and bring them back to us to complete the exhibition.
Open to all. By reservation only
