FFF + RAVAGE CLUB – COMPLET
QUAI M 94 Boulevard du Maréchal Leclerc 85000 LA ROCHE-SUR-YON
Event description
FFF :
“The planets just had to align”.
Marco Prince, Nicolas Baby, Yarol Poupaud and Krichou Monthieu will be back in November 2023 with a new album, called I SCREAM, for the gutsy sound it represents, and in March 2024 they will be returning to the stage, their very first love, on a tour across France with their fusion of rock and funk ready to send bodies swaying in a carnal whirlwind.
“Concerts are our playground, a place where nothing is absolutely forbidden. We know when we’re leaving but never when we’re coming back. We’ve always loved that more than anything.
RAVAGE CLUB :
In verse and against all odds, Vinz and Acidula choose punk and poetry. Ravage Club is the sultry meeting of Patrick Dewaere, the Libertines, Ravage (Barjavel) and Fight Club. Dewaere, a fierce composer, and Dewaere, obsessed with literature, decided to use Bashung’s language as the two impetuous voices of a shared rage. Indeed, during the first confinement, the crazy duo found the time, and above all the desire, to write in French about their ‘English-style’ rock.
On stage, Hughes Rive and Vincent Hernault (Lofofora) join the club. “The more the merrier”, they say. Their first EP, C’est l’Enfer (It’s Hell), produced by Daran, was released on 2 December 2022. It featured 4 super fuzzed-out, direct and corrosive songs, plus an unexpected acoustic French adaptation of Cherry Bomb by the Runaways.
Outlaws in their videos and visuals, their life on the run echoes their daily lives as marginal rockers, rebels in search of freedom. Ravage Club cultivate a strong aesthetic, inspired by the deranged films of the 90s (their beloved decade) such as Romeo + Juliet, Born Killers and Jan Kounen’s Dobermann.
