FESTIVAL ROULEZ JEUNESSE ! QUI A LAISSÉ LA LUMIÈRE ALLUMÉE ?

Maison Gueffier Esplanade Jeannie Mazurelle 85000 LA ROCHE-SUR-YON

Event description

Original sculptures, robots in volume and illustrations mingle with the texts.

Richard Marnier is an artist, performer, visual artist and author of books for young people.
A graduate in plastic arts and decorative arts, Richard Marnier has been working since his first album Jocelyne Vache à lait (published by Seuil, 2005) on a body of work that links visual research and language. Although he is often accompanied on the illustration side by Aude Maurel (including the magnificent La lumière allumée and Dans la machine à laver published by Frimousse), in 2014 he published an astonishing book in which he is the only master on board: Robots intergalactiques, les super Brikabraks (published by Rouergue), which combines sculpture, drawings and text.
Many workshops and exhibitions have sprung from his/their books, and we’re delighted to be able to share the experience with you.
