Antonio García took his first steps in music on the accordion, and went on to play the organ in Biel and at the Lausanne Conservatoire with Jean-François Vaucher. He also spent a year studying organ, harpsichord and piano at the Universität der Künste in Berlin, followed by two years in Groningen in the Netherlands and in Hamburg.
As an organist, he has already performed as a soloist at numerous festivals and taken part in many premieres. As a show designer, he performs on both organ and accordion with various partners and ensembles.
As titular organist at the French Church in Bern, he teaches at the Bern University of Music and, as Dean, coordinates the ‘Church Music’ section there. He is also responsible for programming concerts at Berne’s French church and Bellelay Abbey, and is organist at Berne’s Kultur-Casino.
