EXPOSITION "MERVEILLEUSE NATURE" PAR JEAN-FRANÇOIS ET FLAVIEN BARADEAU
Office de Tourisme Vie et Boulogne 2, avenue de la Gare 85190 AIZENAY
Event description
As part of its first 2024 exhibition, the Tourist Office is welcoming two passionate artists, Jean-François and Flavien Baradeau. Father and son are driven by an artistic fibre: photography for one, drawing for the other. Discover the beauty of nature through the lenses of a photographer and the strokes of a talented self-taught draughtsman.
Jean-François has always loved taking photos. Over the last 5 years, after being offered a camera with a lens, he has become so seriously interested in photography that it has become a real passion. Beyond the technical aspects, Jean-François is deeply fascinated by the natural world around him and can spend hours observing a deer, speaking the language of birds and sharing his love of nature with others.
His favourite field is wildlife photography. He is also keen on landscapes, macro, portrait and sports photography. Jean-François’ lens captures the finest details of the wildlife that surrounds us and the vibrant colours of the flora, transporting the viewer on a unique journey.
His son Flavien, aged just 15, started drawing at the age of 10. After following tutorials on the Internet and acquiring a certain level, he took drawing classes in Saint-Gervais to discover different techniques. The themes he tackles are similar to those followed by his father: animals, landscapes, nature in all it has to offer. Flavien uses pencil, acrylic paint and sometimes a graphic tablet. His technique allows him to play with nuances and contrasts to make his drawings more realistic.
His precise drawings bring flora and fauna to life with remarkable accuracy, the result of careful observation of his environment. The strength of the detail requires viewers to look twice.
Discover nature from a new angle, through the eyes of these two artists, an invitation to observe the wonders of our environment in your own way.
