Des oiseaux dans nos bâtis
Le potager extraordinaire Lieu-dit Beautour 85000 LA ROCHE-SUR-YON
Event description
Ornithologists have made the alarming observation that the numbers of different bird populations are falling steadily and significantly. Surveys carried out over more than thirty years show that the species most affected are those that frequent agricultural areas. Next come those that use buildings for nesting and breeding. The aim of the conference is to take stock of these worrying trends, and to identify the various factors responsible for the decline in populations. The main species nesting in buildings will then be described, along with their ecological requirements. This description will be followed by a review of the various facilities that can help species to find a favourable home in new or old buildings.
