At Le Sableau nursery school and La Fontaine primary schools, the parents' association is getting back to tradition. On Sunday 17 December, the association is putting on a Christmas play. The play will be performed by the Faut rire troupe. Back in the 2000s, a few parents started putting on plays for the children at Christmas time, because at the time they couldn't necessarily find a play suitable for children or a professional troupe available at that time.
The play is called Cyberattack at the North Pole. Audiences will enter the world of Santa’s workshop. Santa is faced with a threat that prevents him from delivering presents to well-behaved children. With the help of Mother Christmas and the elves, they will foil the diabolical plans of the bogeyman and a witch who have kidnapped Professor Cyber and his assistant Miss Rose. Suspense, laughter, magic, song and dance are the order of the day in this play for children of all ages. Come along and share in this wonderful adventure! We’re counting on you,” says Laurent Seynaeve, director and actor.
The play will be performed in the Salle des Acacias, at 10 am and 2 pm, to suit the different age groups of the children.
In addition to the show, there will be Christmas activities and surprises: 1 creative activity + 1 gourmet activity + 1 elf hunt + 1 Christmas show (45 min) + 1 surprise.
